Shweta Tiwari began their career as a Junior Forensic Expert at International Forensic Sciences in Pune. In this role, she handled forensic document and fingerprint-related cases, conducted detailed laboratory evidence analysis, provided consultancy services, and delivered training sessions on forensic best practices. This strong foundation in investigative techniques provided a seamless transition into the insurance surveying industry.
Entering the insurance sector, Shweta Tiwari joined J.C. Gupta and Co. Insurance SLA Pvt. Ltd., starting as a Claims Assistant, she was swiftly promoted to Claims Handler as a direct result of her outstanding performance and rapid skill development. During this tenure, she successfully managed and processed a highly diverse portfolio of claims, including Act of God (AOG), home, theft, fidelity, jeweler’s block, and Group Personal Accident (GPA) policies. Her responsibilities included conducting loss assessments, executing online surveys, drafting comprehensive reports, and negotiating fair settlements in strict compliance with policy terms.
Later, she also served as a Remote Claims Handler for BIL Surveyors and Loss Adjustors LLC, Dubai. In this capacity, she assessed and manage home, fidelity, and property damage claims, conducting thorough investigations to ensure fair and prompt adjustments. They are highly skilled in policy interpretation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout her insurance career, Shweta Tiwari has been actively involved in major Catastrophe (CAT) loss assignments. They provided vital back-office support and claims management during Cyclones Biparjoy and Michaung, and were deeply involved in handling the heavy influx of property damage assessments following the April 2024 Dubai Floods.
