Biography

Steve joined the Royal Air Force in 1988 as an aircraft airframe mechanic and served a 12 year engagement, leaving as a junior technician in 2001. During his service engagement, he was employed on both 54 & 41 Squadrons & in Base maintenance.

In 2001, he joined Gold Air International Ltd (subsequently Air Partner Private Jets Ltd) as a licensed aircraft engineer employed on the Bombardier Learjet 45 & Challenger 300 aircraft.

In 2009, Steve joined TAG Farnborough Engineering (subsequently TAG Aviation Farnborough Maintenance Services) as a licensed aircraft engineer employed on the Bombardier Learjet 45, Challenger 300 series & Global Express series aircraft.

In August 2017, he joined McLarens Aviation as an aircraft surveyor and project manager. Since joining the team, Steve has travelled extensively around Europe, Africa and the Middle East managing projects, completing surveys and pre-purchase inspections on a variety of fixed-wing general aviation, business & commercial aircraft along with numerous rotorcraft types.
