Struan Alexander is Director of Financial Planning and Performance at McLarens, based in London. He provides strategic financial leadership and decision support across EMEA, Aviation, Natural Resources and Global TPA, partnering with Business Unit Managing Directors and Global FP&A leadership to drive growth, profitability and operational performance. Struan joined the McLarens group in 2021 at Lloyd Warwick International, the group’s specialist business handling complex energy losses, and led the full finance function since 2022.
Earlier in his career, Struan held senior finance and systems roles at The Spar Group, LexisNexis and Turner Broadcasting, and trained as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte in South Africa, with a secondment to Deloitte Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Business Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)). He lives in Bath with his family.
