Ted has been working in the insurance industry since 1995 having attained trade and professional experience and qualifications in the fields of Carpentry / Joinery (Trade Certificate) and Investigation (NSW Police + CAPI – Factual Investigations).
He joined McLarens in 2020 as a Senior Loss Adjuster based at the Newcastle NSW office. His key role is assessing Property claims, including Commercial and Large Loss but Factual Investigation and Property Liability claims are also part of his job description.
In addition to working in the local area (Newcastle, Central Coast, Port Stephens, Hunter), Ted has also accumulated knowledge and experience in attending Catastrophe events including Far North QLD (Cyclone Larry), Newcastle ECL 2007, Coffs Harbour (2009 floods), South Coast NSW (2010 floods), Melbourne (2011 storm), New Zealand (2011 Christchurch Earthquakes), Brisbane & Toowoomba (2011 floods), Far North QLD (2011 Cyclone Yasi), Far North QLD (2015 Cyclone Marcia), Newcastle (ECL 2015), Lismore (2017 floods), New Zealand (2018 storms), NSW Bushfires (2019 – 2020), NSW East Coast Storms (2020).
Assessment and investigation assignments include multi-million dollar quantum large losses, commercial fires as well as a myriad of complex liability and construction claims. His skillset with factual investigations dates back to 1995, managing matters for CTP, Workers Compensation, Public Liability (personal injury), Work Cover – Fraud & Marine.
