In 2018, having grown up between France and the United Kingdom, Tom decided to pursue legal qualifications recognised in each of the two countries. He completed a Licence 3 in French Law, in addition thereafter, to a Masters 1 in Comparative & European Private International Law at the Université de Toulouse Capitole 1. Furthermore, as an integral part of his international study program, Tom completed an LLB at Bangor University.
In September 2022, after obtaining his French Masters 1 and his LLB, Tom embarked upon a career in Loss Adjusting with McLarens. In February 2023, he was invited to go to New Zealand as part of the McLarens Catastrophe Response Team to assist with the settlement of claims arising from both the Auckland floods and Cyclone Gabrielle. While in New Zealand, Tom participated also in the handling of EQC, Landslide and Tornado claims, thereby developing, enriching and enhancing his professional knowledge and experience.
