Ghea Bima Prasetyo is Head of Bali Office at McLarens Indonesia and a Senior Loss Adjuster with more than 12 years of experience managing construction, engineering and property claims. He has extensive expertise investigating and adjusting commercial and industrial losses across a broad range of sectors, delivering practical, technically sound claims solutions for domestic and international insurers.
Throughout his career, Ghea has managed a diverse portfolio of complex losses involving commercial buildings, hotels and resorts, manufacturing facilities, public infrastructure and construction projects. His experience includes claims arising from fire, earthquake, flood, landslide, subsidence and third-party liability, together with Contract Works (CAR) and other engineering-related risks. His civil engineering background enables him to undertake detailed technical investigations, assess the cause and extent of damage, and provide clear, commercially focused recommendations to support efficient claims resolution.
As Head of Bali Office, Ghea is responsible for leading McLarens’ operations in Bali, supporting clients across the island and surrounding regions while ensuring the delivery of responsive, high-quality adjusting services. He works closely with insurers, brokers, insureds and technical experts to manage complex claims efficiently and maintain the high standards of technical excellence and client service for which McLarens is recognised.
Ghea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma of Loss Adjusting by examination from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), and Indonesian Certified Adjusting Practitioner issued by the Association of Indonesian Insurance Adjusters (APKAI). He is also an Associate member of Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA), Senior Associate of ANZIIF, and Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) from the same body.
Adding to these extensive claims background, Ghea is a certified Cybersecurity expert, holding the internationally recognized Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification. This specialization is supported by three years of practical experience as a Penetration Tester and SecOps Specialist, where focus on identifying system vulnerabilities and enhancing digital security.
